Scramble for Ethiopia

The SCRAMBLE
FOR ETHIOPIA
is a 5K + 10K + Kid’s Run in Bozeman, MT. The fun begins on JULY 10th. Its purpose is wrapped up in both having fun + making a difference for the students of BRIGHT HOPE SCHOOL in Ethiopia. We’re all about sharing what we have, whether that is joy, time, knowlege or money, + having a good time doing it.

why are we doing this?

We are sure we've been given so much so we can, in turn, give back. At Bright Hope School in Ethiopia, there are children and orphans who have been eating one meal a day, who once lived with NO running or FRESH water, and who have very, very few opportunities compared to those we see every day.

Now, we have the opportunity to pitch in and help our Ethiopian partners improve life for these kids and their communites with simple things like fresh water!

Since last year's SFE, Bright Hope School has seen the installation of a brand new, 20,000 Liter fresh water source. Three chicken houses are in mid-construction, and the wall to surround and protect it all is 1/4 completed. Just under $6,000 was raised by the inaugural Scramble for Ethiopia and sent to Bright Hope School. Those funds wrapped up the needed finances for the chicken houses, and VERY SOON the kids will have chickens and eggs for a steady protien source! The photos on the left were all taken at Bright Hope School in Ethiopia.
